Compensation
Our level of compensation is very competitive for the areas in which we operate. We also continuously monitor our wage and salary structure to ensure our people are rewarded properly for their level of expertise. In addition to the competitive salary potential, employees receive a host of benefits. 

Tuition Reimbursement
Employees interested in improving their job performance or bettering their potential for advancement through additional college-level classes may qualify for tuition reimbursement. As long as you pass all classes with a satisfactory grade, you will be reimbursed for 100 percent of tuition. We also offer a variety of training courses to enhance our employees opportunity for advancement by knowing more about their jobs.

Retirement Savings
Our 401(k) savings program allows our associates to build a healthy retirement account by deferring a small percentage of their pay. It's not unusual for people who begin investing at a young age to easily build an account of hundreds of thousands of dollars by retirement age. Premium Standard Farms LLC matches up to two percent of an associate's salary per year, depending on the individual's contribution.

Insurance Coverage
Premium Standard Farms LLC offers its employees and their families company-subsidized medical, dental, vision and prescription drug insurance, giving them the lowest cost, highest coverage possible.  Another option that employees have is Flexible Spending Accounts, which allow them to voluntarily elect to make salary reductions for dependent child care and medical expenses not paid for by our medical plans. Employees and their families also receive free life insurance, and may purchase supplemental life insurance, also subsidized by the company, for themselves or their spouse. All insurance and Flexible Spending Account deductions are made on a pre-tax basis, which means significant savings.  In the unfortunate event that an associate incurs a disability, Premium Standard Farms LLC will pay disability benefits, which is a portion of the their income. Disability benefits are both short-term and long-term and are offered at no additional cost, which means additional "insurance" for an employee and their family.

Employee Events
The company offers a wide range of off-time events throughout the year for associates and their families. A fishing derby for the kids, a golf tournament, company picnic, summer softball and trap/skeet shooting are just a few of the events scheduled each year to let our employees know we appreciate them.
